New Month, New You!

Restart.

 

New year, new me is a figurative saying, right? But there’s something about a new start that gives people hope. Today is the beginning of a new month…it’s just as good!

 

New weeks are good, “I’ll start my new diet on Sunday/Monday.”

 

New months are better, “I’ll start working on this new *insert amazing project that means a lot to you* on the 1st.”

 

New years? New years take precedence in the land of awesome newness! “It’s a whole new ME! I’m not going to…smoke, eat fast food, live paycheck to paycheck this year. Instead, I’m going to…work out, find a new job, stop being negative and keep in touch with my loved ones.”

 

I absolutely LOVE the attitude of beginning fresh and owning up to your grievances in order for a better, more powerful future.

 

First…the newness of 2018 has pretty much already worn off, just like all of the before it, BUT don’t let your positive outlook wane. Today is February first, use this day to begin something new!

 

Second…Write down your goals. There is something about writing things down that makes them stick. You will be more apt to remember what you wrote and you will work harder to accomplish it.

 

Third…Encourage someone else. Putting encouraging words and attitudes into the atmosphere not only feels good, but it will send that same good energy back to you in some form. Later on down the road, you’ll need it!

 

Fourth…Keep trying! Be determined. Be driven. Be strategic. Outline the steps you need to get where you are trying to go and purposefully maneuver through them.
